Modern Outdoor Living & Pool Remodel in Laguna Niguel Luxury Lot

Project Description:
This complete outdoor living and pool remodel was completed on a large lot in a prime Laguna Niguel neighborhood. The design respected the HOA architectural guidelines while fully transforming both the front and backyard spaces with locally sourced materials and clean modern details.
The existing pool layout was re-engineered by building reinforced interior pool walls to eliminate the original round pool coping, creating sharp, modern lines with custom hand-mixed Top Cast #1 white concrete coping and steps. The pool was resurfaced with Midnight Blue Pebble Tec interior and upgraded with glass subway tile and integrated pentair microbright lighting for a refined finish.
The backyard features gray planter walls with integrated landscape lighting, a spacious large-format concrete paver deck with white concrete borders, and matching driveway surfaces. The entry steps include integrated step lighting to create a welcoming nighttime curb appeal.
Custom Garapa exotic hardwood horizontal planks were used to fabricate both the side and entry gates, paired with powder-coated custom steel framing. A custom-built pergola structure with matte white powder-coated steel framing and treated wood slats creates year-round outdoor comfort, enhanced by integrated outdoor heaters for all-season use.
The project required complete demolition of the aged concrete surfaces and reimagining the outdoor spaces into a modern entertainment area with sharp, architectural details while maximizing curb appeal in this luxury neighborhood.
